Charoite Rough - $50.80/pound

Charoite usually displays some chatoyance and cuts a fine stone. It is getting harder to find in rough and slabbed material. Charoite can be a little splintery and therefore, the grinding stages should be done on medium to fine wheels. It polishes well with tin oxide or diamond. Approximate Mohs hardness 5 to 6.
