 ORDER |
Graphic Stone is patterned with cuneiform or hieroglyphic-like markings. The "writing" is quartz that tends to be light-gray to white on a background of pink to tan feldspar. Cuts easily without undercutting and can be brought to a high polish with diamond or cerium oxide. Produces unusual cabochons. Also an excellent material for carvings. Mohs hardness 6.5 to 7.
