Howlite Cutting/Carving Rough

Howlite has a white to cream colored base with a few gray lines. Howlite cuts and polishes easily. A fine polish can be obtained with tin oxide or diamond. Howlite is often dyed to simulate turquoise. Howlite is also a good carving material. Mohs hardness 3.5.
