Black Nephrite Jade Rough
Australian Black Nephrite Jade is a relative newcomer to the market. It is usually dead black, but can contain a little mottling. Great material for inlay, buff top stones and cabochons. Australian Black Nephrite Jade takes a good polish with diamond. Mohs hardness 6 to 6.5.
