Asteroid Jasper Rough
Asteroid Jasper has a distinct high contrast orbicular pattern. It is hard and takes an excellent polish with diamond and cerium or tin oxide. PLEASE NOTE: Asteroid Jasper has pits and vugs. To get an even, unpitted surface on finished stones, it's best to surface treat the stones to fill the voids. Approximate Mohs hardness 6.5 to 7.
