 ORDER |
Liesegang Stone is a highly silicated banded rhyolite. The bands are strongly contrasting, which produces unique cabochons. Cuts like agate or jasper, and takes a high polish with diamond, tin oxide, or cerium oxide. Mohs hardness 6 to 7.
